A designer in training at Designlab UX Academy, with a passion for creativity, art, design, and problem solving.
The Past
I recently graduated from Miami University, Oxford Ohio, where I earned a B.S. in Computer Science. There, I gained experience utilizing the software development lifecycle and learned languages such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, Python, and C++.
Discovering UI/UX
I became interested in UI/UX after a co-op experience as a QA Engineer, where I collaborated with UX mobile app designers.
Designlab UX Academy
After completing Phase 1 of UX Academy, my understanding of user research grew greatly, and my perception of usability testing has changed. I was not very knowledgeable about it before, but I now find it very interesting after experiencing it. Something that has not changed is my view of visual and UI design, as I expected to enjoy that part of the process.
The Future
I'm always looking for an environment that challenges me to constantly improve, and lets me explore limitless and varied design opportunities.
